Road Rage
Road rage causes drivers to act out of their normal character. Road rage is anger against drivers for small, insignificant reasons. This rage can be caused by a car swerving in front of you or because you are stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Road rage can cause you to yell out in these situations, beep your horn, or speed off at a danger rate of speed. Some drivers tailgate the "offender" or bump car. Road rage is so bad that deaths have been caused by it. In one case, an enraged driver followed his victim home and shot him. Road rage cases are very common. Emotions are very hard to predict when someone gets behind the wheel. A recent study conducted in Europe revealed that 80% of drivers involved in traffic accidents believe someone else was at fault and only 5% take responsibility for their actions. The other 15% represent a mixture of reasons for accidents taking place.
If you find yourself in a car accident from a road rage incident, you may find yourself at a treatment and rehabilitation clinic for auto accidents. These clinics strive to form a personal relationship between their staff and the patient. They also try to provide a comfortable and calming environment where the patient can receive therapy. The clinics design your rehabilitation sessions based on what is best for body, its needs, and your current injuries. The majority of the clinics are staffed with very friendly, cordial educated employees whose main goal is the recovering of its patients to pre-accident status. Most clinics offering treatment and rehabilitation for automotive accidents provide two very detailed therapy methods to help get the patient back to where they were before they experienced a debilitating.
Passive therapy
Passive therapy is therapy designed to diminish the pain you are more than likely to feel from your injury. The pain sometimes can be very excruciating. That is why the clinics have three different methods to relieve your pain. The first method is moist heat. Heat is often used for muscle tension problems. The heat releases and loosens any tight muscles in your body or in the injured area. Moist heat is applied with hot towels or hot baths. Another method of passive therapy is cryotherapy. Cryotherapy does the opposite of moist heat. Cryotherapy actually lowers the temperature of the patients body, the lowered temperature has almost the same effect ice has on injuries. Cryotherapy numbs the feeling in the injured area. Followed by moist heat and cryotherapy is interferential/TENS, a long word with a rather simple meaning. Interferential/TENS is the process of using small electric currents to scramble your brain’s perception of the pain you are experiencing.
Active therapy
As you may have guessed, active therapy is in one word, active. Active therapy helps regain your body’s strength through balance training, core hardening, cardiovascular massages and many other methods.
Road rage can cause major injury to you or your loved ones. If you care in a situation of road rage try and diffuse the situation as quickly as possible and without any significant injuries.
